The vision at Bryleigh House is to create a lifestyle concept store that supports locally produced brands with a beautifully curated feel, embracing slow style, handmade and local.
Jess and Cait are two friends that run and create Bryleigh House. Local Woodend mums that wanted to create a beautiful brand and lifestyle that would appeal to a wide audience and showcase the rural way of living,
Cait is a busy Mum of two with a wonderful talent at everything, from baking to sewing to designing and maintaining the grounds of Bryleigh House where the studio is situated. Cait is a strong creative behind many of the Bryleigh House original designs.
Jess is a Mum who was looking to return to the workforce after baby number three but was finding it a struggle to return to her prior job as a Visual Merchandiser with a lack of flexibility in that particular field, with a passion for retail and styling-collaborating with Cait in a small business was a no-brainer.
Many have come to know and love the unique style of Bryleigh House and in particular their signature floral wreath designs that creatively use old wine barrel rings to locally sourced grapevine from the Macedon Ranges region. Many of the florals in which you may see featured on the wreaths have been grown right in the very grounds of Bryleigh House, which have then carefully gone through the drying process to create these gorgeous forever wreaths.
Cait and Jess wanted to create a contemporary farmhouse look and each spend much of their time sourcing unique pieces to give a curated feel to their retail space, really embracing slow style and breathing new life into old pieces.
